First post from Chiang Mai
Here’s the start of Orion-ers’ journey to ChiangMai
After hours of waiting and flight time, we are finally here at Chiang Mai! 🙂
Peter and Kate, our friendly local translators, were the first to greet us with a big smile at the arrival area. We boarded on the pick-up trucks and here comes the bumpy ride to Mae Lod!
Day 1 was orientation where we had dry run of games and visit of the school. Some of the operations members also washed the class room and walls out side school.
We finally get to see the kids from the school on day 2! 🙂 They were so cuuuute! Half of the people interacted them by teaching them english lessons and playing orientation games while the other half did operations job like painting the wall of classrooms and washing the wall around school.
On day 3, some of us continued with the undone work while some others continued interacting with the kids. In the night time, we went to an open area beside where we lived to look at stars! It was our first time seeing shooting stars!
